identified, was supposed to receive $250,000 a year for five years, the

– From the moment that Jeffrey Gottlieb entered the Congressional
District 6 race, there was talk that he was running as a stalking horse
for Grace Meng.
And
those suspicions have only grown after Meng’s campaign admitted that
Nussbaum, its main consultant, encouraged another Jewish candidate,

How Did Councilman Peter Koo Pay Golub?
In
yesterday City and State reported Gottlieb was “impressed” by Jay
Golub efforts in 2010 to get Democratic Senate candidate Isaac Sasson
onto the ballot. A Close Tie Between the Gottlieb and Meng Campaigns
True News has found out through auditor close to the Sasson campaign
operation that Sasson hired Golub GSP the recommendation of Peter Koo.
Golub who ran Sasson brought in Nussbaum to printing. Nussbaum was paid
$145,000 by Koo.
The
problem with the Koo recommendation was that there is no record of
payment by the Koo campaign of Golub or his lobbyist partner Dennis
Gallagher. There is a report that Gallagher and Golub GPS did lobbying

after the interview with Golub yesterday, I looked at Sasson’s 2010
campaign finance reports, and they show someone else who might have
been impressed with Golub’s efforts. The main consultant on Sasson’s
campaign turns out to have been Multi-Media, the Queens consulting firm
run by Michael Nussbaum, which is now the main consultant on Meng’s
campaign. During Sasson’s 2010 campaign for State Senate, Multi-Media
was paid $143,877, according to campaign finance records, while Golub’s
firm, GSP Consulting, was paid $57,500.

who is also Jewish, to run for the congressional seat in order to split
the Jewish vote.

city’s Board of Elections has suspended an employee Stephen Graves who
is a top official in the Queens Republican Party after being notified
that he was caught on tape soliciting a $25,000 “finder’s fee” from a
company competing for a $65 million contract in 2009. “He was
recommending the use of a particular lobbyist,” said one source. “In
exchange for that he wanted a finder’s fee.” The lobbyist, who was not
identified, was supposed to receive $250,000 a year for five years, the
source said.

his Middle Village office, is listed on a city government database as an

by Jay Golub, a dentist. Republican Gallagher, a Republican, confirmed
that he does consulting work with Golub and that he’s done consulting
for Councilman Peter Koo (R-Queens) but said he hasn’t done any work for
Republicans in Queens “on a paid basis.” Michael Nussbaum Meng'
campaign consultants also worked in the 2009 peter Koo campaign. Jolub
also worked in the campaign for Issac Sasson. in Both the Koo campaign

A
fourth candidate has jumped in the NY-6 Democratic primary in
northeast Queens – and the move is already prompting questions about
whether the Queens Democratic Party is actually attempting to siphon
away Jewish votes from a rival candidate, Assemblyman Rory Lancman.
Gottlieb
currently an employee at the Board of Elections has no federal campaign
account, no campaign website and waited several weeks into petitioning
into order to begin. City and State reports that Queens Democratic
sources said that before Gottlieb entered the race, Meng backers
attempted to recruit Matt Silverstein, a Democratic state committeeman
who is also Jewish, to run for the congressional seat in order to split
the Jewish vote.

defeated in the primary. So Golub seem to be functioning as a secret
operative for Crowley. That can explain why Koo backed Weprin and

connected to both the Queens Democratic and Republic Parties. Golub's
GPS was also paid by the Queens GOP to run the state committee campaigns

after the interview with Golub yesterday, I looked at Sasson’s 2010
campaign finance reports, and they show someone else who might have
been impressed with Golub’s efforts. The main consultant on Sasson’s
campaign turns out to have been Multi-Media, the Queens consulting firm
run by Michael Nussbaum, which is now the main consultant on Meng’s
campaign. During Sasson’s 2010 campaign for State Senate, Multi-Media
was paid $143,877, according to campaign finance records, while Golub’s
firm, GSP Consulting, was paid $57,500.

yesterday City and State reported Gottlieb was “impressed” by Jay
Golub efforts in 2010 to get Democratic Senate candidate Isaac Sasson
onto the ballot. A Close Tie Between the Gottlieb and Meng Campaigns
True News has found out through auditor close to the Sasson campaign
operation that Sasson hired Golub GSP the recommendation of Peter Koo.
Golub who ran Sasson brought in Nussbaum to printing. Nussbaum was paid
$145,000 by Koo.

problem with the Koo recommendation was that there is no record of
payment by the Koo campaign of Golub or his lobbyist partner Dennis
